Dr. Natacha Cesar-Davis serves as the Inaugural Assistant Dean of the Office of Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at UCLA. She is a passionate advocate, researcher, and scholar in higher education. Natacha has served in various roles across institutions that ranged from community colleges to large research universities. Beginning her work at her Alma Mater—UCLA, Natacha has worked to address the omnipresence of structural discrimination in post-secondary institutions. Natacha has diligently sought to foster environments where all students, particularly immigrant-origin youth, can find support and success in their quest for self-actualization. As a practitioner, Natacha has advocated for segmented holistic services that center on the needs of specific communities. In her scholarship, Natacha uses contextual frameworks to examine how identity development impacts students in their search for their vocational identity.
