Shoghik is a current graduate student in the Human Development and Education (HDE) program at Harvard University. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Nor Luyce Mentoring Center for Youth NGO, the first and only mentoring organization in Armenia dedicated to supporting adolescent girls from orphanages and socially vulnerable families (www.norluyce.com).

Shoghik earned her first degree in English Language and School Psychology from Yerevan State Linguistic University. She later received her second M.Ed., with an outstanding GPA, in Counseling and Human Services from Lehigh University, where she was a Fulbright scholar under the supervision of Dr. Arpana Inman.

Throughout her career, Shoghik has worked as a coordinator or manager in various prestigious organizations, including Peace Corps, Birthright Armenia, and Historic Armenian Houses. She has also volunteered to conduct numerous professional workshops within her community. Additionally, she served as a jury member for the state exams in counseling at Shirak State University.

Shoghik was the first to raise awareness about bullying in local schools, which led her to publish two books: a comprehensive guide on school bullying and its consequences, and a group counseling workbook to help counselors and social workers support students who have experienced bullying and relational aggression.

Fluent in Armenian, English, and Russian, Shoghik enjoys playing the piano and reading in her free time.
