Shaza Jendi is an Ed.M student in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology. She focuses on creating equitable learning spaces for immigrant children. Shaza is motivated to create opportunities for minority groups and marginalized communities to express their needs and concerns within the educational system.
Originally from Syria, Shaza was born and raised in the United Arab Emirates where she also completed her BFA in Design Management from the American University of Sharjah. She moved to Florida in 2017 where she earned her MFA in Graphic Design from the University of Florida as well as an Early Childhood certificate.
During her free time, Shaza likes to travel, learn about different cultures, bake, and spend time with her husband and two kids.
