Kara is a master’s of education candidate in the Educational Leadership program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE). Prior to HGSE she was a public-school teacher for 5 years. Kara has taught History in an International Academy in Washington, DC, English as a Fulbright grantee at a vocational school in Galicia, Spain and English as a Second Language at a charter school in Cambridge, MA. She loves teaching and is especially passionate about immigrant and refugee rights and access to education.
