Isabel is a master’s candidate in the Human Development and Education Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Before HGSE, Isabel taught English and collaborated on education research while on a Fulbright Grant in Spain. She then spent several years studying child development in a cognitive neuroscience research lab. She has volunteered as an unaccompanied refugee minor mentor and ESL tutor, and cares deeply about equitable learning opportunities for refugee and immigrant-origin youth.
