Research Fellow at IIH, Project Assistant at Hispanic Federation and Harvard University Alumna '24

Daniella Berrospi is a post-graduate researcher at Harvard, focusing on the intersections of education and immigration. She earned her B.A. in Sociology with a language citation in Spanish, minoring in ethnic studies where she studied the experiences of Latino and Indigenous populations in the United States. Daniella‘s senior thesis examined mixed-status families, particularly the educational and career trajectories of children with legal status and their family backgrounds. Born in Miami, Florida, to a Peruvian mother, she is a proud second-generation immigrant, which fuels her passion for advocating for better understanding and empathy towards immigrant communities in the U.S.

Daniella is excited to join IIH, where she aims to enhance her qualitative research skills while reinforcing her quantitative analysis capabilities. She hopes that her work will contribute to greater awareness and respect for the unique challenges faced by immigrant families.
